Halloween Decorations: Paper Pumpkins

Hi Everyone

As it is my first Halloween in my new house I wanted to make it a little spacial and decorate.

i have a few lines of pumpkin lights that I have put around but i wanted something that could last for a little longer, maybe the whole of the Autumn.  I set myself an account on Pintrest for some inspiration and then I got crafting.

Here is my first of a few posts.

Paper Pumpkins

Pick some paper of your choice.  I would say try not to use really thin paper, they will be flimsy,  or really thick card, they wont bend.

Cut 12-16 strips of paper, mine where about 2cm by 21cm, but I used different lengths to get different size pumpkins, i would recommend making the strips thinner the shorter the strip.

Punch a whole in each end of all the strips.

Thread all the strips on a ribbon with a knot at the end.

Now thread the top whole on the ribbon and push the top section down until you get your desired fatness!

Ties a knot at the top and decorate how you like, I used skeleton leaves (from hobby craft and make a little brown stalk).

It is as easy as that!

Hope you like it.
